PASTOR ROBERT M. DIX, JR.


Pastor Robert M. Dix, Jr. is and has been the Senior Pastor of the United Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio since 2007.
With “Building God’s Kingdom, One Soul at a Time” as a motto, under his leadership United continues to grow numerically, financially, physically, and most of all spiritually; and is destined to be a place of spiritual growth, renewal, training, and nurturing throughout the 21st Century.


Called to the Gospel Ministry in 2000, Pastor Dix received his License to Preach and Ordination at The Open Door Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio. Recognized amongst his peers and community as an anointed and gifted Minister of the Gospel, Pastor Dix often receives
invitations to serve various ministries and organizations locally and nationally as a guest preacher, evangelist, speaker, and teacher. During the years 2014-22, he hosted a weekly broadcast “Walking In Favor With
Pastor Dix” on the Stellar Award-winning All Nations Internet Radio Station. From 2004 to 2006, he served as the Interim Pastor of the Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio.


A 1989 graduate of Warrensville High School, in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, he enlisted in the United States Army and at the rank of E5 Sergeant Dix received an Honorable Discharge in 1998. In the fall of 2000, he began his undergraduate studies at Ashland Theological Seminary McCreary Center extension. He received his degree of Diploma in Theology with a concentration in Black Church Studies in the spring of 2002. In the fall of 2002, he began his graduate studies at Ashland
Theological Seminary majoring in Practical Theology. By the spring of 2010, Pastor Dix transferred his credits and enrolled in Andersonville Theological Seminary. His dedicated work ethic and intellect proved rewarding and in the spring of 2014, he graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors, receiving a Master of Ministry Degree in Pastoral Leadership.

As a public servant, in 2003 The Honorable Judge Janet E. Burney of Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court appointed Pastor Dix to the position of Bailiff. In 2005, he continued to serve families and the community as a Mediator and Diversion Officer of the same court until 2018. He currently serves as Personal Bailiff for the Honorable Judge Deborah M. Turner in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas.

Pastor Dix is regarded as a well-respected member of clergy. Locally, he is a member of The Mt. Pleasant Ministerial Alliance, United Pastors in Mission of Cleveland, Ohio; The Northeastern Ohio Association of Baptist Ministers (NOABM); and The Baptist Pastors Council of Cleveland and Vicinity; and Greater Cleveland Clergy Coalition. Nationally he is a member of A Graceful Association of Pastors Ecumenically (A.G.A.P.E.). Among his special achievements and awards are: a Letter of Commendation from President Barack Obama; and proclamations honoring his service from state and city government officials. In 2022 he was inducted into the 100 Black Men of Cleveland, Inc.; and in 2023 he was named “Grand Marshal” of The Warrensville Heights Memorial Day Parade.

Above all, Pastor Dix counts his greatest achievement as being a loving husband and father. He currently resides in Solon, Ohio with his beautiful wife, Sabrina, and their son Robert, III, and daughter Emani Brielle.
